The Presbyterian Church
in Western Australia Website
Presbyterian School of Theology
The Presbyterian School of Theology is a ministry of the Presbyterian Church in WA.
We aim to offer:
-
Inexpensive courses on the Bible, Christian Belief and Practical Theology.
-
Courses that are aimed at members of the Presbyterian Church and anyone else who desires to grow in their understanding of the Christian faith. All people are welcome.
-
Teaching that is in harmony with the Bible and the Westminster Confession of Faith.
-
Courses in line with the Australian College of Theology Certificate in Theology (formerly known as the ThA). Student can opt to do the assignments and exams set by the ACT and work towards the ACT Certificate in Theology.
-
Occasional talks, workshops and seminars on topics of interest.
Why are we doing this?
The Theological Education Committee of the Presbyterian Church in WA is aiming to stimulate an interest in an informed understanding of the Christian faith, and encourage more people to train for various forms of Christian ministry.
We believe we are responding to a desire among the members of our church for further education in Bible and theology.
For more advanced training, we recommend Trinity Theological College in Leederville.
Our ministerial candidates train at Trinity. We will aim to work in co-operation with Trinity.
